Tasks in Pissouri

Tip: Some tasks are close to each other, but aren't in order, you could make a plan on how to navigate the village to be more efficient! Also, talk to the villagers for your quest! They are very friendly and helpful!

Task 1: Fountain

In the square of the village, there is a fountain with a sculpture of a fruit on it. What is this fruit? Can you find the history behind this fountain? Take a photo of the group with the fountain!

Task 2 – Communal Amphitheater

The Communal Amphitheater of Pissouri is a new amphitheater with a classic design (of Ancient Greece). Find it and take a photo in the middle (or the gate if it's closed!)

Task 3: Point of View

There is a fantastic point of view in the village close to where the bus parked. It is next to a cafeteria. The name of this cafeteria is a type of photograph or view. What is the cafeteria called? Take a photo with your group with the view in the background!

Task 4_ Hotel with View

While you are hosted in Hylatio Tourist Village hotel, there is yet another hotel with a pool on top of the hill. What's the name of this hotel? Take a photo with the best view within the hotel with your group.

Task 5: Vraka Restaurant

Pissouri is a growing village with lots of restaurants. In the square there is a restaurant named Vrakas. What does that mean? What is the owner's name? Bonus points if you get a photo with the owner!

Task 6: Platea

There are lots of taverns in the "platea" of Pissouri. What does that mean? Take a photo anywhere in this "platea" with your entire group!

Task 7: Main Church (Apostolou Andrea)

There is a main church in the village close to the "platea". What is this church called? Take a photo at the entrance of this church with your group!

Τask 8: Small Church (Panagia Akonopetras)

Near the Communal Amphitheater there is a small church on a hill. Can you find it? What's the name of this church? Take a photo with your group here!

Task 9: Inn AND Restaurant (bunch of Grapes Inn)

Pissouri began being a touristic place only in the last 40 years. There is an inn and restaurant combined that opened here from the very beginning. What is it called? Take a photo with your group at the entrance or within the garden of this place!

Task 10: Barber Shop

As any Cypriot village, there is a single traditional barber shop. Take a photo in front of this barber shop with your group!

Task 11: Tavern for our meeting.

In Pissouri square there is also a tavern with a name that takes as in Ancient Greece and the name of the tavern mean a big gathering with wine-drinking that was accompanied by song, dance and conversation. This is the same tavern we will be meeting tonight at 19.00 for dinner. What is the name of the tavern and the name of the owner of the tavern? Can you find him? Take a selfie with him and your group for this task.

Task 12: Monument

In Pissouri square there is a central monument with text on it near some seats. What is this monument about? Take a photo with your group next to this monument!

Task 13: Impressions

If you finish all your tasks, you can have your coffee with your team, you can discuss and you can enjoy your free time till 19.00 that we are going to have our welcoming dinner in the tavern of the task 11. Our bus it's going to leave from the same place that left you, at 22.00. Impressions
