PDA CREACTION

Bullying in school is the most common type of violence among adolescents, recognized as a serious concern for students and has become a public health problem and global concern. Although the prevalence of bullying is difficult to estimate because of the different measures used throughout the studies and emerging, influential external factors like the covid pandemic, researchers have agreed that bullying is a pervasive and significant problem in our schools today. This chapter provides a review of research and evidence on school bullying: understanding the definition of bullying in school, and the size of the problem, the consequences of bullying, academic correlations, who is at risk, students' perceptions of bullying, evidence school-based programs to reduce and prevent bullying and the importance to train and engage antibullying ambassadors as focal points to intervene in a non-typical educational function for preventing and dealing with the phenomenon.

We believe that a very important tool in the fight against bullying is non typical education from a very young age to break all the stereotypes and discrimination issues. Through this process, youth are empowered to embrace their right to be valued and respected for who they truly are (and not what society expects them to be) and their responsibility to value and respect others equally. The young people will develop an understanding of different types of bullying including physical and psychological abuse and gain a deeper understanding of different types of bullying including physical, psychological abuse offline and online in various stakeholder contexts).

The main activity focuses on scenarios of bullying in youth centers. Being able to name bullying, to acknowledge its impact and understand why it happens empowers participants to stand up to preventing and handling bullying cases. Being also able to understand the impact bullying has to disabled and non-disabled people is crucial to prevent devastating effects, higher levels of health risk and lower levels of resilience that may vary from low grades to depression and attempted suicides.

Furthermore, it is important to promote emotional education and a new figure of emotional educator. Social Emotional Learning (SEL) has to be an integral part of education and human development. SEL is the process through which all young people, disabled and non-disabled, as well as adults acquire and apply the knowledge, skills, and attitudes to develop healthy identities, manage emotions and achieve personal and collective goals, feel and show empathy for others, establish and maintain supportive relationships, and make responsible and caring decisions. Also, can helps to address various forms of inequity and empower young people and adults to co-creating thriving schools and contribute to safe, healthy and justice communities.

Through this project, we intend to empower participants to feel free to express their feelings, their experiences, to explore how bullying can affect young people's lives as well as their lives, to get more knowledge and tools in order to be able to help them and become active listeners and raise critical thinking by recognizing any form of bullying violence. Through the enhancement of ourselves we also aim to eliminate inequalities, to improve interpersonal communication and cooperation and to promote innovative ideas for the overall well-being. One more purpose of the training is to encourage people to deal with their personal fears and traumas that they carry with them and do not have the chance or the courage to deal with them in order to feel free and move on with confidence and joy for life despite the difficulties they have to confront.

Last but not least, we want to empower the participants to become agents of change and important anti bullying ambassadors in their communities and to prevent and handle bullying cases in a positive integrative way .We created that project because we believe that every human being has to feel free to express themselves, to be respected from others and to feel free to choose how will live in his life and not to live in the fear. Finally, we purport to attain the key competencies of the Erasmus +, communication in the mother tongue, communication in foreign languages, mathematical competence and basic competences in science and technology, digital competence, learning to learn, social and civic competences, cultural awareness and expression.

To sum up,"CREating with ACt and arTs a safe envIronment in Our ceNters CREACTION", emphasizes on social inclusion and opposing discrimination in all its aspects. Through this project, we aim to provide tools for participants to explore collective struggles, analyze their history and present circumstances, and then experiment with inventing a new future together. Education is the key to create a better world without any kind of racism, with respect and kindness to all humans
